Your youth hostel Nideggen, located in proximity to the famous Trias Rocks.

Nideggen Youth Hostel, the most modern in the Eifel region, lies on the edge of the Eifel National Park. From here, guests can enjoy direct views of the medieval castle of Nideggen and the famous red sandstone rocks of the Eifel. The centre of Nideggen, with its cosy alleyways, cafes and shops, are all within walking distance.

Arriving by public transport
Take the train to Duren, then take the 221 bus to the "Dürener Tor" stop. From there it is just 650 metres to the hostel

Or: take the train to Duren, then take the Rurtalbahn (train) up to Nideggen/Brück (about 30 minutes), then walk up to Nideggen (about 20 minutes)
Arriving by bus or car
From Dusseldorf, Mönchengladbach, Cologne, Bonn and Koblenz:
take the A 1/A 61, take the Erftstadt exit, then continue towards Zülpich (B 56). Behind Erp turn right onto the L 33. On Jülicher Straße, switch to the L 249 and at Abendener Straße turn right towards Im Effels.

From Aachen:
take the A 4 towards Cologne until the Düren exit. Drive towards Düren and continue on the B 56 towards Zülpich/Euskirchen. At the roundabout in Froitzheim, turn off towards Nideggen and follow the road for about 6 km. At the roundabout, take the second exit and turn onto Jülicher Straße (L 249). Then turn left into Abendener Straße and then turn right towards Im Effels.
Parking facilities
The car park of the youth hostel is approx. 60 m away. The entrance is wheelchair-accessible.
Arriving by bike
The hostel has a secured space for about 15 bikes where you can safely store your bikes.
