Leisure facilities in the region

The Bergisches Land, with its scenic countryside, romantic villages and mediaeval history, offers visitors a diverse range of recreational opportunities. Visit Homburg Castle, with its art-historical museum and the multi-functional cultural and event centre or visit Atta cave. Germany's biggest and most beautiful dripstone cave is only 50 km from the hostel. The "Grube Silberhardt" visitor mine reminds us of the tradition of the silver and ore mining in the Bergisches Land. But even if you're just planning a stroll through a town or a shopping trip, you'll find it: Cologne and Siegen are easily accessible from Morsbach Youth Hostel.
